VanSmile Community Oral Health Society is a non-profit society incorporated in British Columbia with a mission to promote oral health education and improve access to preventative oral health resources within the community.
The Society exists to support community oral health through education, outreach, and advocacy. Our focus is on reducing barriers to oral health information and preventative care, particularly for seniors, children, and individuals who face challenges accessing traditional dental services.
VanSmile Community Oral Health Society is a separate legal entity from VanSmile Dental Hygiene Inc., a for-profit mobile dental hygiene practice.
The Society does not operate a dental clinic. When clinical dental hygiene services are provided to community members, they are delivered independently by licensed providers, including VanSmile Dental Hygiene Inc., in accordance with applicable professional and regulatory standards.
The Society is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and operates on a not-for-profit basis. Any funds or resources received by the Society are used solely to advance its community oral health purposes.
